Come Experience the New OA Induction!!

The National Order of the Arrow has released a completely new Induction weekend for our members, and we are offering a weekend for our existing members to experience this new induction process, before we offer this experience to new members in November.

Check in will be 6:00- 8:00 pm on Friday, please report to the dining hall to get your camping assignment.  Please be at Camp by 8 so we can get started with the induction.

While new members will continue with the tradition of sleeping alone under the stars as all members have, that will not be a requirement for this weekend.  Members will have the option to sleep under the stars or in their tent.  During the day on Saturday, we will be participating in work projects around camp w/ several discussion activities happening in between.  Think of it sort as a traditional ordeal combined with a Scouting training.

While this experience is very different from the ordeal you completed last spring or 50 years ago, this is just a new way to induct members into our lodge.

For a packing list, please bring your uniform and work clothes and the typical gear you need for an OA weekend.  There will be a cracker barrel before things start Friday evening, but please eat a meal before arriving at camp.  We will eat a typical camp breakfast in the dining hall on Saturday morning.
